A second dead wolf was found in the forest area of Kastoria, within the Greek pilot area of Antichasia-Meteora. This is the second wolf found dead so far in 2012 by the ARCTUROS’s Team of Emergency Response. The unfortunate animal, a male aged 7 years old and weighing 65 kilos, was reported dead after two days by the residents of the surroundings.
The animal was taken to the Wildlife Hospital in Kastoria, where the necropsy confirmed poisoning was the cause of death.
