The “Management of Animal sub-products” workshop will take place at Hinojosa del Duque (Córdoba, Spain) with the collaboration of regional and local institutions of the pilot area. The training session leaded by Gypaetus Foundation is about the management of animal sub-products. It is addressed, to the members of the “European Networks of Hunters and Stockbreeders against Poison” of the Life project, among other groups. The admission to the event is free although there are limited places.
During the event there will be treated different topics related to protection areas for the scavengers feeding and the sanitary criteria for the abandonment of carcasses and other animal sub-products at hunting and extensive livestock areas. This session will take place in the morning of 23rd October at the plenary room of the Training Institute on Agricultural and Fishing Research (IFAPA) at Hinojosa del Duque (Córdoba, Spain).
The organization will include the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment of the Government of Andalucía, the Training Institute on Agricultural and Fishing Research (IFAPA), the Young Farmers Agricultural Association of Córdoba (COAG) and the Department of Hunting and Fishing Resources of the University of Córdoba.
The training session is part of the actions related to the European Networks Against Poison of the Andalusian pilot areas in the scope of the Life+ project “Innovative actions against illegal use of poison baits in EU Mediterranean pilot areas”, leaded by Gypaetus Foundation.
